Blog Post 1

The first week of class was full of interesting activities that were pretty fun to me. On the first day of class we went and ventured around campus to find peculiar/strange things to take pictures of and come up with a scientific question that we had about them. This amused me because this was not your everyday classroom activity and I'm the type of person who likes trying different things.

(What keeps these brick structures that are separated by windows from falling off the building?)

The second day of class consisted of us tuning in to our inner maker inside us. We were given four options of things that we could make or do and they were make a mechanical scribbler, make a light artwork, create a downloadable audio, or decorate our daybooks. I chose to decorate my daybook because I had no idea how to complete any of the other tasks. However, as I was decorating my daybook I realized that my daybook and my personal writing had a connection. My decorations were kind of random with no connection to each other and that kind of relates to my writing because my writing usually consists of mostly random thoughts. So that pretty much wraps up what I did and learned from the activities of my first week of class in English 1103 and I can't wait to see what's in store for the weeks to come.
